Frequently asked questions

Security Questions

Credit card skimming is the process by which account information is read from the magnetic stripe of a credit card and then stored or sent to a server where it can be duplicated thousands of times almost instantly.

Mint uses Secure-Swipe Technology, where all sensitive information is encrypted by Mint. Therefore, no sensitive information ever passes into the airwaves or into our secure server, keeping the customer, and you, safe from this type of fraud. None of the credit card information is stored on the mobile phone either.
